| Above the knee User Info... | Hey there, As the subject implies, I'm wanting to put together a melodic death metal band. I was the guitar player/songwriter in Reaver (http://www.reverbnation.com/reaverofficial) and I'm feeling inspired to get back on a stage with a proper group of talented individuals. If you're a guitar player who can handle splitting lead work, a bass player, a keyboardist or a proficient drummer who's looking to play some epic tunes, I'd encourage you to get in touch with me. If you can sing or scream, that would be a definite bonus (though I believe I already have a main singer). I don't have an exact band composition in mind at the moment but I wouldn't be against trying out a 3 guitar player approach. I'm looking for musicians who have the drive to play tight, clean and also put on an excellent high-energy show. Past band experience is an asset but not necessary if the skills are there. If you have any recording of you playing, I'd love to hear it. As for my goals with the music, I'd like to continue in the same style (at least guitar-wise and difficulty-wise) as Reaver. I'm sure the unique mix of musicians will allow a unique sound to emerge. I enjoy writing music that is energetic, dynamic and epic. I tend to write more 'fast' songs than other tempos and already have many songs written (and tabbed) that could be used (to get to playing shows faster) and I'm open to sharing songwriting duties and collaborating. I should probably mention I'm 28 in case that matters to anyone. I could go on but instead, send me a message and we can see if things would be a fit.
