| Glenn R User Info... | A new band is seeking a vocalist/guitarist. This will be a covers project focusing on Power Pop from the 60's to now, but most of the material is modern, ie the second british wave until now. The right person will be a great singer: able to sing lead on about a third of the material, and able to harmonize Everly style. Our preferred singer will also be a guitarist. The band is looking to gig around Victoria when it is ready, but the starting point for us is having fun. We are not looking at world domination here. It's just a cover band, but we hope an excellent one. So, what kind of knowledge / appreciation is necessary? Well, if your favorite guitar players include the Edge, Andy Summers, Mike Campbell, James Calvin Wilsey, and Dave Gregory, then you are in the right ballpark. Bands to be covered include The La's, U2, Chris Isaak, Oasis, The Odds, Guster, XTC, and a whole smattering of one hit power pop wonders.
