Pete User Info... | I think Fully Loaded sux. I caught them at the Oak Bay Teen Centre like three weeks ago, and there was like 14 people there. I didn't like their whiny singer, and they seem to draw no crowd at all. - Tue, 4 Nov 2003 3:47pm
... User Info... | Two emerging bands to check out: Ten Too Late and The Habitat. Ten Too Late -- intense ska, but good. The Habitat, intense rock, loud and good. - Tue, 4 Nov 2003 7:14pm

Crispy User Info... | I don't go out to often. But i went to that battle of the bands thing at Lucky last nite and I would have to say right now I like Self Inflicted. They played a tight set. Fully Loaded should not have beat them. And I'm not even really into the metal/punk thing. I've seen Fully Loaded before and I don't think they really have any unique qualities that would make me listen to them on a regular basis. The whole DJ thing kinda turns me off too. But hey what do I know like I said I hardly go out. - Wed, 5 Nov 2003 9:56pm
Dirty Rocker User Info... | Why is everyone so harsh on this page? I mean come on...the Battle of the bands thing at Lucky, it was a fun enjoyable showcase, not this Self Inflicted party that it sounds like you metals heads wanted it to be, if you support them, why weren't you there? Fully Loaded, I saw them before, at Steamers with King Bong, and yeah, they are good, good new music, very good musicians, and incorporating different styles, not just one death thrash song after the other that you can't tell apart, universal not tunnel vision, not hacking Self Inflicted by any means, just not a metal only show, and when a non-metal band wins all of the 15 year olds on this page freak out. And to the person that didn't like the DJ thing...I really like it, no band has that around, and it adds a really musical element that is exploring the sound, so let's just be a little more open minded and support local music, not just complain about shows you weren't even at...Fully Loaded won, they are good, accept that. - Thu, 6 Nov 2003 1:44pm
Rubber Box User Info... | I respect your opinion. Now maybe its time you realize that everybody is entitled to one. - Thu, 6 Nov 2003 1:58pm
Dirty Rocker User Info... | I believe you missed the point, the point I was just to be more positive and support all local bands. I did enjoy Self Inflicted, they were very tight, very good, and put on a very impressive show, just feel as though the board could be more open and accepting, I completely understand everyone has an opinion, and certainly want everyone to express their own, just comments like 'Fuck all you steamers bands' and "I think this band sucks" are not going to promote local music, granted people can think this and express this, it's just the victoria music scene shouldn't be this competition and shouldn't be based on negativity, I stayed and noticed that Fully Loaded stayed to support the last band, while the other bands left, it's just support for local music from within is what the city needs. I never hacked or dismissed anyone, that's all I was trying to say, give credit to all bands. - Thu, 6 Nov 2003 5:44pm
Fred the Dragon User Info... | Fully agreed. I'm reading all these posts with members of Self Inflicted and all their friends slagging Fully Loaded for nothing more than having more friends down at the show. This whole BOTB was a popularity contest, Ben and Liam said that from the start. If Self Inflicted didn't draw enough people to win, they have no one to blame but themselves. It's not Fully Loaded's fault they had more support. - Thu, 6 Nov 2003 6:11pm
ROSS B AY User Info... | what the hell are you talking about "slagging Fully Loaded"? where the fuck did you get that one? we never, ever slag other bands. if you knew any of us personally, you'd know that it's all fun and games kid. we had a grand 'ol time at the show, loved ALL the bands, and made some rad new friends as well. we didn't give a shit if we "won" or not, it was just a great opportunity to play a good show, that's all. Fully Loaded get all the props from us and everyone there that night for doing what they do best. power to them, we'll more than likely be playing with them again someday, we count them as our friends after that show. read up before you start mumbling nonsense sonny, nowhere did we slag any of the bands we played with. we don't do that shit, what's the point? you sound bitter for some reason, maybe you should figure out why. or better yet, come to a show and actually meet bands, then you'll know what they're all about. Respect to the Lucky Bar crew and all who came down on a tuesday no less, we had a fucking killer time and that's that. - Thu, 6 Nov 2003 6:18pm
