josh User Info... | what does the effect chorus do exactly? and how does a tube amp work and what are the pros and cons of using one? thanks - Wed, 21 Apr 2004 6:07pm
Kickback User Info... | Chorus essentually takes your signal and makes it slightly out of tune (depending in your settings). It works best when you're running a stereo setup. Most people use it to get a glassy tone, or fatten up their tone(in stereo setups). As for tube amps it's all your preference. Unless you love the tube sound they dont have any advantages over solid state amps. Two disadvantages are that your tone changes a little bit everytime you turn it on and you do need to replace your tubes after a period of time. Personally i swear by tube amps. Nothing even comes close to the tube sound. My chorus pedal is almost always on too - Wed, 21 Apr 2004 6:15pm
