J fatso User Info... | So, I have a Mesa Boogie triple rec. and a Randall rh250G2 and im wanting to run both, now its important that i keep to mesa tone intact, but i could stand to loose a bit when it comes to the randall. I was planning on using my radial passive ABY to do so, but after a bit of reading it seems that it might thin out or change my tone. To possibly fix that problem i was thinking of running my sonic maximizer just before the ABY to buffer the signal before it splits, just wondering if that will work. Now my other option would be to make a my mesa a master and the randall a slave, but im not %100 sure how to do that. So if anyone out there has any imput or ideas id love to hear it. Thanks, J ps. heres the back panel of the mesa http://www.mesaboogie.com/Product_Info/Rectifier_Series/Triple_Rectifier/Triple_Recto_Closeup/triple_recto_backpanel.html - Thu, 30 Oct 2008 12:40am
laprider User Info... | Use yer boogie as the master. It should have a slave out on the back? Send that via 1/4" to the input of the randall and set that amp up pretty flat. Alternatively you can do the same only send it from your effects send to the other amp. Old Marshalls and fenders, simply take your send from the unused channel input and send that to the other amp. Speaking of which, if you have a 4 input marshall or Fender Bassman....try channel jumping for better tones. ie plug guitar into input one, jump the other input one into input 2 or visa versa, its the only way to run a bassman in my opinion. Hows Vic, its motthafuckin hot in Australia right now - Thu, 30 Oct 2008 4:08pm
