I'm a singing, keyboard-playing burlesque dancer looking for fun and original low-pressure projects of all stripes. I am open, warm, creative, funny, (mostly) mature and I have a low-tolerance for the fake. I'm looking for other musicians and artists of all types to dream up some crazy shit together. Maybe we could put on some shows and thus get to humour our inner rock stars and divas while having a lot of fun, and without all the invasive press and public tragedies that worldwide fame brings.
Some of my favourite musicians are Bjork, Radiohead, Beck, Boards of Canada, Basement Jaxx, Gorillaz, Bloc Party, Interpol, Lamb, Chemical Brothers, Wolf Parade, The Darkness, Quasimoto, Neil Young, Soul Coughing, Gnarls Barkley, Scissor Sisters, Iron & Wine, Nine Inch Nails, Roots Manuva, Pinback, Bright Eyes and Sufjan Stevens. So yeah, I'm open to a lot of different styles.
I love lots of different art forms like musicals, drag shows, photography and the visual arts in general, live bands, dance parties, comedy, MC battles, and neo-burlesque.
