Calcutta Crime Spree

We’re a three piece progressive rock outfit from Vancouver with a commitment to memorable, high-energy live performances. We like to push the conventional boundaries of standard song writing and opt for a more avant-garde freely structured approach. Our music incorporates a large array of influences ranging from the irregular-metered complexity of progressive rock, minimalist melodic passages of blues/roots, to the use of uncommon chordal structures and the improvisational mentality of Jazz. We are set to release a full length CD in the summer of '08 followed by a month long cross Canada tour.
