The Ducks
since circa 2019
The Ducks may be one of the youngest bands in the Bow Valley, but they can sure rock the roof off! The Ducks started in 2019 when they played a concert in their garage to curious neighbours wondering what all the racket was. After rising to fame in the Bow Valley in 2023, they have played gigs for parties, restaurants and local events around town. The band consists of three ducklings: Timmy Mann (guitar & vocals), Charlie Kestle (drums & keys) and Oliver Robins (bass). They mainly play rock, and enjoy performing anything from The Beatles to Guns ‘N Roses. Some of The Duck's achievements include an interview and video newscast for CBC’s The National along with winning the Canmore Lamphouse Arts Bursary just this past winter, and just played their first of many folk festivals this summer. Their next goal is to record their original songs in a studio and to be played on the local radio station.
