Ross Gamble’s practice involves cutting up many pieces of paper to make a cast of characters. Every character is made up of individual pieces of paper, cut and glued to make up every aspect, right down to each individual button. He draws a multitude of hats, to find the right one. Swaps out a mustachioed face for a less mustachioed one. Bigger hair, smaller boots, fancier pants, fancier hats, more ghouls, fancier ghouls. The resulting scraps from his process results in Ross’ apartment being covered in what he affectionately calls ‘confetti’.
