Described as having a voice that satisfies a listener’s craving for “melted butter” one can’t help but cozy up to the unmistakable voice of Lauren Carson. Pulling on influences from Mary Chapin Carpenter and the melodies of Ray LaMontagne she creates a warm, folk pop sound.
No stranger to the rigor of music, she emerged onto music stages across Ontario at the tender age of seven with a Bluegrass band, with them she recorded her first full-length album at twelve. Utilizing popular Bluegrass and Roots festivals as a musical training ground, she has developed a sound that is all her own.
