Larry Borek

Oshawa-born Larry is a consummate musician who can trace his ‘chops’ to his life in San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury district, back in the heady days of the 1960s rock movement. Later, he returned to Toronto’s emerging rock scene, riding the music forward through the 1970s. Life for a serious musician inevitably leads to a life on the road, and Larry found himself touring with one band or another, playing rock and pop music in Toronto and throughout Northern Ontario. “You could almost make a living at it!” he chuckles. ~ Island Clippings (August 14, 2014)
