Although I fell in love with Vancouver Island forty years ago I finally moved here nine years ago. Since Creative Arts at Sheridan College I have taken a variety of courses at Sir Sanford Fleming College, Haliburton School of Fine Arts, John Abbot College, Niagara College and recently a number of glass fusing classes at glass studios both here and in Florida. After obtaining an Adult Education Teaching Certificate I taught a variety of craft related subjects for over thirty five years. For the last twenty years I have been making jewelry. Most of my recent work is in fused glass. My glass fascination has expanded to making candle holders, glass flowers and happy hour bells from recycled wine bottles. In Ontario I was active in three craft-art co-ops and a Portfolio Craftsman at the Ontario Craft Council. Currently I work from my studio in Cobble Hill and participate in a number of Visions' craft shows. I thoroughly enjoy being part of the Vancouver Island .
