Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra

The VYSO is a non-profit educational organization aimed at developing young musicians. We support four ensemble levels, with a total of about 285 musicians aged 8 to 22

* The Debut Orchestra is designed for string musicians aged 8 to 11, who have little or no previous ensemble experience.
* The Junior String Orchestra provides training in orchestral skills for more experienced string musicians of ages generally ranging form 10 to 13 years old.
* The Intermediate Orchestra is a full orchestra offering training for musicians of junior and senior high school age.
* The Senior Orchestra is a full orchestra for advanced musicians up to 22 years of age.
