Vatcher/Buck/Moor/Samworth

Two drummers! Two guitarists! The Wire (London) calls California-born, Amsterdam-based Michael Vatcher a drummer who “can swing like mad, insert homemade instruments with precision and delicacy, and thrash the hell out of everything.” The addition of the creative and adventurous Australian drummer/percussionist Tony Buck into this group should provide enough rhythmic interest to satisfy the most groove-thirsty soul. Buck’s Corkestra colleague Andy Moor has an unusual guitar style, which ranges from melodic solos to atmospheric soundscapes and wild outbursts of radical sound.
