High School Jazz Intensive w/ N.Mitchell

Designed to connect talented high-school-student musicians together with an internationally acclaimed artist for a rigorous nine-day residency, the High School Jazz Intensive offers a rare opportunity for students to explore new techniques, develop new works, and investigate new perspectives under the tutelage of a jazz master. This year the band – comprising a select group of high-school students from the Lower Mainland who successfully auditioned for the program – will be led by artist-in-residence, flutist, composer, educator, and conductor Nicole Mitchell.
