...with a shot of hard rock and a splash of Goth, Aly Young is a Vancouver based singer/songwriter hell bent on writing, recording, and performing music for the world to hear. Aly’s writing epitomizes the emotions and experiences that in some strange way, so many people share. With an empowering voice of every day life her music is what she calls “the bittersweet sound-track to people’s lives”. Fueled by a voice that will knock you on your ass and leave you begging for more, Aly's songs are hooky rock anthems that declare the strength we all possess to change and the affirmation that someone out there understands.

Aly has just finished recording her first EP and is currently working on a full length album. You can catch her performing at showcase events around Vancouver with her band and from time to time solo with her acoustic guitar.
