Event Description

Something new & exciting is brewing on Friday night, July 23, 7:30 - 10:00 when singer/songwriter Darlene Hixson will be performing with Frazier Campbell at a new local venue, Buon Amici's coffee, 645 Tyee Road.
Darlene's debut CD, dangerously deep, was released in June 2003 and was nominated for two island music awards: best female songwriter and best produced album. Heading back to the studio to record new material, Darlene's style has taken on an additional flavor, inpired by the style of Norah Jones.
Backing her up on guitar and drum, local songwriter Frazier Campbell, will be sharing a few of his own originals, accompanied by Darlene's vocal harmony's. www.cdbaby.com/darlenehixson
