Event Description

BIG E.....

has been keeping the underground dance fire burning in Tofino and Ucluelet, rocking house parties and hosting club nights at the Dirty Maq. Big E is best known for playing Breaks with Throbbing Bass Lines and making Booty Bounce. Last year he kicked of Soundwave with a pumping set on the Renegade Stage that turned off the fog and brought the sunshine. He returned this year to play another earthshaking Breaks set on the Renegade System and a second set on the Liquid Soul Soudstage of Sexy, Melodic, Liquid Drum n’ Bass with DJ Smoothie on the Sax.



LYSSA.....

Having spent a good majority of her childhood in Mexico & being fortunate enough to be exposed to Latin culture, Lyssa has a strong desire to explore her roots in her musical selections. Depending on what mood we catch her in, and where, you can expect to hear anything from Deep Chicago House to Fidget and Electro, to Dirty Driving Techno! She made Victoria her home in spring 2007. Her impressive summer appearances have kept her busy: Elevation in Kelowna, Entheos Gathering & Uprising Media Festival both in the lower mainland, and Salt Spring Island. She never misses a chance to bust out on the dance floor as she surrounds herself with her favorites: music and dancing.


Jason "Drute-Z"

Druyts has been a staple in the Van Island music scene for over 10 years now. As a resident and a founding father of the famed Fiesta Barn, he spread his infectious blend of rave-y remixes of classic rock songs interspersed with old school house music, he made the underground rave scene jump up and around singing his praises.
More recently he has made the switch to the more fidgety and techy side of things, teaming up with other ex-fiesta barn resident Morgwaan to create the In n Out Soundcrew, and beyond that, continues to rock the 1's and 2's solo with his new style of tech-house, tech-funk, and skanky fidget house, and is now trying his hand out at producing, with a new EP on the way. Look out 2010, cause everything seems to be comin up Drute-Z, and shows no signs of stopping!
