Instruments: Clarinet, bass clarinet details
Montreal-based clarinetist/bass clarinetist Lori Freedman is an "extraordinary" interpreter and "fearless" performer who is at home in contemporary composed and improvised music, with multi-discipline leanings. Influenced strongly by Iannis Xenakis, Paul Steenhuisen, Ab Baars and Joëlle Léandre. Here she appears alone giving public workshops (04/07) and together in Vancouver trios with Stefan Smulovitz/Vivane Houle (02/07), Peggy Lee/ Torsten Müller (04/07).
