Welcome to Creativity CloseUps, a project dedicated to sharing the real stories behind Canada’s creative community.

I started Creativity CloseUps to go beyond the finished artwork and explore the people behind the craft. Whether it is a painting, sculpture, or piece of woodwork, there is always a human story waiting to be told. Through studio visits and conversations, we explore the tools, techniques, and motivations that drive Canadian artists to create. This is a space for anyone who appreciates the dedication required to bring something new into the world.

We focus on the journeys of Canadian makers across British Columbia and beyond. By stepping into their workshops, we look at how they handle challenges, navigate creative blocks, and find artistic inspiration in their daily work. My goal is to preserve these unique experiences so they are remembered and celebrated.
