Calgary Folk Music Festival 2024 - Highlights and memories
Music, magic, and memories recorded live from the 45th annual Calgary Folk Music Festival at Prince's Island Park, July 25-28 2024, powered by ATB Financial.
🎶: Wild Rivers - Bedrock
As the sun set on our 45th year, we couldn't help but get a little misty-eyed over all the beautiful memories we made — this year and every year since.
Thinking back to our humble beginnings as a modest two-day affair in 1980, it's a little surreal to look out onto Prince's Island Park and see thousands and thousands of friends, families, and cherished loved ones coming together to celebrate music, community, and our beautiful city.
Thank you to everyone for another memorable Calgary Folk Music Festival, and for making our dreams come true. See you next year folkies!
The Calgary Folk Music Festival is a four day musical extravaganza in the heart of Calgary. Featuring 70 artists from across Alberta, Canada, and the world. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements and get tickets for the 45th annual Calgary Folk Music Festival this winter
Directed by: Em Medland-Marchen
Filmed by: Ankur Desai, Austin Dalke, Em Medland-Marchen, Grace Shappka, Jarrett Edmund, Matt Cookson, Phil Jukes, Tasha Bamhare.
