Written by Sam Torrance, founder of the great Cajun Zydeco band "Bijoux du Bayou" from Victoria BC Canada. This original song commemorates the founding of the band in 1997. Bijoux du Bayou still goes strong with regular appearances up and down Vancouver Island with a collection of fantastic musicians joining from time to time to create a unique experience.
