I have played many different styles of music over the years in various bands, but my roots remain deeply sunk into metal. Metalcore and progressive djent/groove metal to be specific. I just love how the guitars and drums sync perfectly together for tight breakdowns and intricate, dropped tuned, guitar riffs.
Despite my best efforts to write acoustic, folk and pop songs, I still find myself dreaming about screaming my face off and pushing my vocal range past it's limit to a sweet groove.
Metal is an acquired taste, and I find it delicious.
