“For this show, I just wanted to play beautiful, soulful, swinging, and powerful music with my very good friends. We’ve all been through a lot this last while, and I think playing great music with great musicians in front of a (real!) great audience is something worth celebrating. Music by Freddie Hubbard, Jeff ’Tain’ Watts, John Coltrane, George Cables, Roy Hargrove, McCoy Tyner, and more. Very much looking forward to seeing you, and thanks.”
