Event Description

The Back Alley Trio are Victoria’s newest Blues band featuring bandleader Big Hank Lionhart, who is a commanding performer with his huge whiskey voice and larger than life stage presence. His hand-picked band of ace session men deliver the goods: great Blues music from the golden age of that idiom. Together with their very special guest Chris Whitely, one of Toronto’s greatest roots musicians, this will be a show not to be missed! Chris is an amazing multi-instrumentalist, and will be displaying his virtuosity on guitar, harmonica and trumpet. With Powder Blues founding member Jack Lavin on bass and veteran drummer Ross Hall this live streamed show will bounce you off your couch and onto whatever it is you use as your home dance floor! Grab your partner or a broom and dance your evening away with the Back Alley Trio + 1.
