Event Description

Thursday, October 10, 7-9pm Open Space, Camosun Visual Arts, and LIVE! Vancouver Performance Art Biennial present an evening of performance art featuring Mineki Murata (Japan), and John G. Boehme (Canada). Murata is visiting Victoria after performing at the LIVE! Vancouver Performance Art Biennial October 1-6. Each artist will present an independent performance action in the gallery.

The event is taking place in the context of the exhibition DOING THINGS 'n STUFF: An accumulation of actions, relics, recent work, and more from John G. Boehme at Open Space, Sep 13 - Oct 12, 2019.

Mineki Murata will also be giving and artist talk at Camosun College, Landsdowne Campus, Visual Arts Department, on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 2pm.
