Nothing that original but a hell of a pack of energy that might be entertaining for the people of a disturbed childhood. | Sati User Info... | oh, come on, this is dumb. I listened to Saul and I'm like you, I hate tons of bands like that in my city.. something about the way the promotion is done, the types of bands they play with, the places they play, the vapid crowds, the press they get. But I'm removed from all that (assuming they do partake in all that) being over here, and I listened to them a while ago, checked out some footage, and I liked them for what they do. They do it well and I'd way rather see or hear them than 90% of the bands out there like it. Thats meant as a total compliment - I hope they do well. Now comparing them to Golers is fucked. And FYI, Golers are over the top amazing these days - you being such a big music fan would be stupid to miss their show. They WERE somewhat how you described, i.e. that kinda was their shtick, but imho they've taken it to a new level. Plus, not that I know them well, but they seem like awesome people who in small ways have impressed me quite a bit, and who also seem to be in midst of whats probably one of the best periods of their lives, so you'd be missing out if you didn't head out to see them. now. that said i missed them 2x this past weekend and am no. kidding. really bummed out about it. :( - Tue, 14 Jul 2009 9:11pm Edited: Tue, 14 Jul 2009 9:18pm | ||
