I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some governmental stooge with a bad comb-over who wants to give it away to supply homeless heroin junkies with clean needles and safe houses to inject their drugs. The only things I can think of that are truly discriminatory and RACIST are things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, Miss Black Canada, Miss Asian Canada, Miss Latin Canada, Miss anything but white Canada. Try to have things like the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White Canada and see what happens. Jesse Jackson, Dudley Laws and every other black yahoo activist will be knocking down your door crying racism. Speaking of racism, why it that only white people are always guilty of it??? Am I missing something here? I have the right "NOT" to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird, or tick me off. When 70% of the people who get arrested are black, in suburban areas where 70% of the population is black, that is not racial profiling, it is the law of statistics. I believe that if you are selling me a milk shake, a pack of cigarettes, a newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English! As a matter of fact, if you want to be an Canadian citizen you should have to speak English! My father and grandfather should not have died in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come over and disrespect ours. English should be a requirement to enter this country. 'English as a 2nd language 101' should be taught to you in your country, not here and paid for with my tax dollars. I think the police should have every right to shoot your sorry ass if you threaten them after they tell you to stop. If you can't understand the word "freeze" or "stop" in English, see the above lines. I know what the definition of 'being fleeced' means. Why do politicians think otherwise? I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business. We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document and open to their interpretations. I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor. I know wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television, and that doesn't stop you from watching them. I believe a self-righteous liberal or conservative with a cause is more dangerous than a Hell's Angel with an attitude. I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If it ticks you off, go and invent the next operating system that's better and put your name on the building. (because white people were too lazy and didn't wanna work for dirt wages). The immigrants who come to this country are required to have MONEY. Believe me, my aunt has been wanting to immigrate to Canada for years and they won't let her because she doesn't have enough money (and she's not exactly poor). People work hard to come here, they are determined and hard working. They work harder in a week than you would in two months. Most of them are self-employed or own their own businesses....so please tell me where you get your facts from that these immigrants are taking your jobs away. These people who are "taking" your jobs away are probably far more educated and qualified than you anyhow. Granted there is racism in every culture. Ive been here 5 years, he has lowered my rent twice, once gave me his 4 near new truck tires which were in great shape, for my truck, for free. Gives me as many vegetables from his farm as I want for free. Gave me free heating oil for the first two years I was here. Has let me off on late rent a few times, just said not to worry about paying it if I was really strapped. Lets me party all I want.. bought an ML7 CD and insisted on paying me $20 for it. Lets see.. what else.. lends us power tools whenever we ask.. Always a smile and a wave. Built himself a brand new house and told me he hopes his son starts a band one day so he can make use of their new basement ( his son is about 5 years old ) In fact all the chinese people Ive met have been pretty damn alright. I see people get mad because they see sonny driving around in his new sports car? WTF? I see as many white boys driving around in daddys car.. Are you allergic to work or succesS? I mean cmon.. the whole myth of "they steal our jobs" stems from the fact that they actually WORK hard for what they get.. A big corportation doesnt hire somebody unless they are the best for the job, and there arent any chinese working in the fields doing mundane labour who're driving fancy cars! Maybe some of you racists would rather be toiling in the field picking lettuce then sitting around getting fat on welfare or picking your ass working at Walmart. | ML7Mike User Info... | Ill also add that I have an American born Japanese stepmom ( married my dad ) She was born in California around 1940.. by 1945 she had spent the first 5 years of her life in an american concentration camp.. Even though her father had been born in the USA too. Anyhow, they took their family house, car and business away and shoved them in this camp, all because they were of Japanese decent.. Even though they were American citizens. To me, that is wrong. When they got released near the end of the war, they were not given back any of their belongings but sent back to work and break their backs to earn it all again. And what did they do? they earned it all back again by working hard. Didnt see the good ole poppa USA doing that to the German/Americans tho did ya! And Id like to add that 3/4 of European immigrants didnt know English when they came to Canada, and many of them still dont. I dont see anyone crying to send home the germans, italians, portuguese.. why not? Many of them run their own businesses and hire only family or friends.. Why ? Skin color. They are white. That is the weakness in the race arguement. | Dan Conner User Info... | Chinese people rule. the $1.10 worth of food for $8.95... Everythings expensive. I find chinese food to be fairly cheap when it comes to fast food... Especially for how much you get. You can get stuffed at Fu Wah cafe in Langford for $5. Mc. crappolds charges like $4.79 or something for a big extra meal that is crap, and goes no where near filling you up, and has even fewer veggies, and I'd rather support a small business than mcdonalds anyday. Also, I have never met a lazy chinese slacker. Seriously. Every chinese person I meet is an increadibly hard worker, didn't bitch about the work, and still found time to be a nice person. The only SLIGHT exception to this rule, is that I knew one cocain addict who went missing for a week or so after payday a couple times. But when this guy was there, he WORKED HIS ASS OFF. My moms boss is chinese. He is INCREDIBLY generous, gives me free food whenever I go there (thats why I don't go in much... lol) He is a VERY hard worker, and has a god head for business. Its true, I do abhor every 16 year old driving around in a $75,000 car. Not just CHINESE, but EVERYONE! I think the world would be a better place if everyone worked as hard as the chinese immigrants do. OR, it COULD be me, maybe the ones I met were the ONLY ones like that. RX: The only point I agree with would be all the stuff about "Miss black canada" and stuff like that.
