I passed by there, and as usual my mouth got the better of me (I'm pissed about Camas, even though it's one of the best places to hold a gig cause there's no noise affecting the neighbours). But I never got a chance to see the AK-47 gig (I saw someone filming the gig, if your reading this E-Mail me, I so want that gig), but you know what I'm pissed about? It really burns me that AK-47 haven't been signed to any major (or even a well paid INDependant), Tony deserves to get paid for the hard work that he does that he calls a hobby!

Anyhow, had to post that. Camas seems to be a good all-(r)ager venue! I'm just sorry if I have any ill will to that venue (I even donated a shitload of books there :). - Sun, 22 Mar 2009 10:19pm Edited: Sun, 22 Mar 2009 10:51pm

Tonight ruled. AK had to cut their set short due to technical difficulties, but what they played went great. Every other band tonight was amazing. Vegan Holocaust is possibly the greatest thing to happen to Victoria Hardcore since the invention of the burrito, Persistence of Time, Withdrawal and Horizons were amazing, and everyone seemed to have a great time.

OH YEAH, and some shitty band called Black Cloud played. Screw those guys. - Mon, 23 Mar 2009 12:03am

I missed this, i rolled up around 11. I have yet to see BC and VH : <

I have to disagree with you griphin. I think if ak47 started to capitalize off of their music it might ruin the point. - Mon, 23 Mar 2009 12:09pm

anyone who missed out on Withdrawal is a sucker. that was some metal. im kind of bummed that they didnt play Her Secret though... but still, they brought it.

Vegan Holocaust was nothing short of fun. seriously you guys are coming along really nicely youre having a lot of fun doing it and its showing and thats a great thing.

i was stoked for BC of course, but it seemed like you guys were all on different pages completely. Fresh Hell and Cotard are what i can remember standing out though so those ruled. no shots this time though, too busy pushing Nick from my view hah - Mon, 23 Mar 2009 3:41pm

haha, that's really funny, I thought it was a pretty tight set. We fucked up one of the new songs, but otherwise it seemed to come together nicely. Eh, maybe I just don't know what sucking sounds like. - Mon, 23 Mar 2009 10:35pm

I dunno about capitalization, though. But you do bring up a good point, the fact the music could grow stale once you add a lot of money to the equation. :) - Wed, 25 Mar 2009 1:54am

best part of the night was the rampant TMNT2 playing and keytar jams after the show. also, apparently my house can easily hold three bands comfortably.

also it's true, austin doesn't know what sucking sounds like, because he's NEVER DONE IT! black cloud had a tight set. F teh h8rs. - Wed, 25 Mar 2009 9:08am Edited: Wed, 25 Mar 2009 9:15am
