| Chopper User Info... | There is malware specifically coded to take advantage of soulseek. There are 2 worms, that have been around for a while now, that target soulseek specifically. Edit: Torrents are always better, especially if you're worried about Shaw's caps, which is the only thing you have to worry about. | _Griphin_ User Info... | Strange, I've been running Soulseek for a while now, and nothing has happened to me yet. I'm wondering if AVG detects such crap? Mind you, I don't run Soulseek 24/7. I'm not worried about the caps though, cause it's not like everyone is downloading the albums (I only support out of print albums, really). I've been searching for information about those worms, and have yet to find anything. | Chopper User Info... | Mydoom and deadhat are the ones I'm mostly familiar with in regards to Soulseek issues. And I'd trust AVG about as much as I'd trust a junkie to guard my house. ESET or Kaspersky are the only 2 virus scanner/suites worthy of purchase/use. - Tue, 10 Feb 2009 2:07pm | ||

| _Griphin_ User Info... | I just got a bunch of demos by: Breakwater, Curbside, Funbox, Horrid Little Boys, Loud Mouth Mason, New York City Rhythm, Ninth Hour, Onionhouse, Outright, Pilot Light, Purple City, Sludge Confrontations, Stegasorus, SunDogSun. A lot of this music still need to be transfered to computer. Anyhow, thought some people on here might be interested. Onionhouse is Mission of Christ, well the new version.
