| Brian User Info... | I live for music and need to find people to build a 4 piece with. I sing and play R. Guitar. The rest is open. Have a ton of songs and riffs to bring to the table, and hope the same from you. That's it. My influences include, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Nine Inch Nails, Weezer, STP, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, just fucking everything! I'm looking for people who realize that being in a band doesn't mean instant stardom because "you are the next Hendrix". It means working your ass off to gain recognition by writing songs worth hearing with people who are like brothers to you by the end of it all. Some of my favourite musicians are Bjork, Radiohead, Beck, Boards of Canada, Basement Jaxx, Gorillaz, Bloc Party, Interpol, Lamb, Chemical Brothers, Wolf Parade, The Darkness, Quasimoto, Neil Young, Arcade Fire, Soul Coughing, Gnarls Barkley, Scissor Sisters, Iron & Wine, Nine Inch Nails, Roots Manuva, Pinback, Bright Eyes and Sufjan Stevens. So yeah, I'm open to a lot of different styles. | James Brooks User Info... | Hey, I played bass in a band called The Concept for a couple years, and we put a couple cds and toured a bit and we also did lots of covers of things of rage against the machine and guns and roses and stuff like that. http://www.myspace.com/theconcept the band is no more and im' goign to school in vic looking to get back into the music scene. I use a fender jazz through an ampeg sct pro head and 4x10 cab. I also had a full pa system but the mixer is fried, so i sitll have a couple monitors and mains with a bass pin and power amp with mics and chords and stands. mostly influenced by alternative/rock/punk styles but also enjoy classic rock - Thu, 6 Nov 2008 1:03pm | ||
