| slik User Info... | Why can't I find anyone to play with? Is livevictoria the wrong place to look? Are there no bands out there other than metal,punk and same-old rock bands? Is everyone 16 years old & just starting out? Help ! anyways.... We're a bass player and a drummer. We are in our 30's and are looking for something a bit new and fresh. We're both creative and experienced on stage and recording and have good gear and good attitudes. We'd like to join a solid unit that is already or is close to performing, or meet a good vocalist and/or guitar player possibly who already has some songs or song ideas. I create a folk alternative fusion of east and west. I experiment with different genres at once and make music that is very unique. I have written over 95 songs that have gotten much response from those who hear them. I also perform sitar inspired instrumentals on classical guitar. I have had much difficulty in finding a bassist and drummer who wish to perform and practice as much as I do I perform regularly at The Green Goddess Cafe in Fernwood.
