| canon.docre User Info... | The sound wa atrocious at this show. I missed Gabow (shitty deal), Dead River Wasteland really weren't my thing so I left after a song or two. Archon Legion seemed tight, but I really couldn't hear the guitar melodies, not to mention the vocals, so I left after 4 or 5 songs. Same thing with Mitochondrion, even though they usually sound muddy as hell I couldn't hear the drums at all. I mean, both bands sounded good and tight, but I guess I'm just spoiled and have heard them with way better sound so I couldn't really get into it. | moron User Info... | Sound was not so hot for this show (underpowered PA I think) plus the acoustics are pretty boomy in the event center. It was really crappy during Gabow but was less ass by the time Mito played (though the guitars were still low in the mix and everything really crispy sounding). Not Big Fernwood bad mind you but on the way for sure. As to the acts, Gabow was a pleasant surprise. Would like to see those folks again through a decent PA. Deadriver Wasteland are way too stoner rock and poppy for my taste so I left pretty quickly in (should probably play with Bison instead of black / death acts). Got back during Archon Legion who were also really poppy, again not my thing. Mito slayed, super tight and intense. Time for those guys to hit the road already. Cheers - Tue, 12 Aug 2008 11:44am | ||

| LETSGETRAD! User Info... |  Dead River Wasteland were awesesome. its refreshing to actually see a Doom band stroll through everyone in awile.
