| Wreaker of Havoc User Info... | Fuck I love playing that place. Brentwood kids slay! Big thanks to Elizabeth and crew for putting on another fine show. Metal Mayhem was a success music wise (how bout skatepark wise??) REPULVERIZER started things off with a Morbid Angel/Regurgitation style set. The drummer must have been Tim's twin cause these guys were serious metal! THREAT OF THE END were not as good as I have seen them. Monica put on her usual commanding performance but the band seemed uninspired. Hopefully RSBF can inject some new life into this band, otherwise her talent may be better invested elsewhere. (ya im a dick) GALLOWS END then played to a crowd that didnt disappoint. They destroyed a cd I threw out as they fought like mad dogs!!!BRENTWOOOOOOOD! GROSS MISCONDUCT then got up and played there usual tight pounding metal. The kids went nuts. Props to GM for makin the drive down to play at this benefit. See you dudes Thursday at Thursdays... Then MEATLOCKER SEVEN closed out the night. Aside from Tony, Steve, Bram, Chris and Mike, they played pretty good.....haha all kidding aside they played a good solid set. Not one kid left during this set which was amazing being 11-12 at night at an all ager. They even treated us to a brand new unrecorded song...Now i know why it wasnt recorded.....heheh actually as much as it pains me to say this, ML7 rocked. | Mosh Pit Champion | I just found out that girl who put on that awesome show is only fuckin 15! Holy shit. She did a amazing job. All the bands put on a wonderful performance. Repulverizer wasn't my type of style. Threat of the End, the chic was great but the band needed to get into it more, Gallows, well brentwood is their area, Gross Misconduct and Meatlocker, all I can say is wow, I'm glad I stuck around for you guys. | BH | I didn't see TOTE or Repuverizer, but the show was still the shit. ML7 proved why they have been one of the heavy weights on the island for so long. Gross Misconduct are hands down the best "standard 80's speed metal". It was cool parting with you guys. Gallow's End were short a guitar player, and it was still an unbelievable show. | Tim(Delicious Face) User Info... | I thought that TOTE did quite an amazing job. Their music wasn't thrashy but had a smooth sound that will definatly get them somewhere, amazing vocals by the way. A rediculously powerful set by Gallows, Gross Miss. and ML7 ended the show with lots of wounds to be healed. MCing the thing was fun but ML7 and Gross Miss., we were supposed to announce you! Oh well. My only dissapointment was the amount of people and that no one moshed. I wanted to get some better mosh wounds instead of extremely tender arms. Good luck on the Thurdays show. THIS EVENT WAS AWESOME! i have to just give Elizabeth some well deserved recognition here for putting on such a well organized event. i was shocked when i asked her, 'how old are you?' and she answered '15'. not only does she carry herself as being much older than she is but her maturity level is so advanced. this young woman has a bright future ahead of her if she wants it. i'd be happy to hire someone like her in any business that i run and i actually look forward to working with her in the very near future (i'll be contacting you shortly Elizabeth about something i know you'll want to be involved in) anyway, she and her team put on a great event and i want people to know how much work they all put into this. the whole thing ran smoothly and was a pleasure to be involved in. all the kids at the show were great - totally appreciative and just awesome fun people all around. a highlight was seeing a group of girls at the front totally rockin' out to our tunes!! that made everything so much more fun for me. i am always so impressed with Gross Misconduct and Gallows End. (some of the drumming in Gross Misconduct blows me away - soooooooooooo creative and original) for the style of metal they do - they do it well and both have great talents keeping them strong and solid. i have to say i'm proud that we've got brand new bands like this on the island. for the person complaining that Bram is 'too nice' - i absolutely love the fact that ML7 is such a crushing powerful devilish evil band with a flipside of being all such great nice people with no attitude. it's going to work very well for them. anyway - i had such a good time and i'm glad we were asked to participate. thank you Elizabeth, et al. ; ) - Mon, 21 Apr 2003 2:54pm | ||

So far it hasnt affected our sound in a major way and has been a positive thing internally. We may be looking for a 2nd guitarist in the future but for now we are stoked with the current lineup. They just didn't listen. We had to do that because of the deal with the police. It didn't work out as well as we planned so we'll try something else next time. | Steph | Man the night of the show was my first night out after a month of mono. It was an awsome Show. The stage Jamped the room with wicked Vibrations. Thanks to all the bands for creating an atmosphere were nothing else seems to matter. Definitely one of my favorite ways to on wind. We needed more Moahing for M7 though. My neck could have hurt that much more, the next morning. Loved the way you played M7, nice Build ups and pauses. Nice Job Gollows end for playing with one leg. Because we turned a situation where we had no ulterior motives into a situation where we still had no ulterior motives and came out with a cool product. It cost some money, nothing is free. It cost time and frustration as well. Robert from Zero Gravity was invaluable with his expertise and support and we ended up a sweet sounding disc at the end of our team effort. We will be buying the shirts like we bought time and reels of tape to record our cd. And if we took advantage of anyone, I'd like to know who so I can rectify the situation, although I am 100% sure that isn't the case. And Gallows Fag, after you give me the cash, you can stick that shirt wherever you like...I won't be offended. We've got a punk/rock/alternative show coming up on the 17th with Tough as Nails, Ten Feet Between Us, The Span and Next of Kin. I'm also trying to organize a "Brent-wood Stock" for July or August.
