These guys are amazing. I've seen them twice. They have a lot of fun on stage while keeping it professional. A healthy mix of groove and power metal combined with hardcore elements. Each of the three members play a key role and all of their vocals blend into something not common to the Victoria music scene - Thu, 8 May 2008 10:55pm

What I like:
Mathiness
Crazy death metal vocal backups
Super trad leads with 5ths
Double bass drum action

What I don't like:
Uneven production (needs mastering - parts sound disconnected, edits are really bloody obvious, vocal sound is not... great - distorted, muddy)
Tendancies towards metal banality (overlong twiddling solos)

But that's a critique of the recordings, not live shit. - Sun, 11 May 2008 11:41pm

based on the myspace tracks, I really don't like this band. but it's cool, I don't like many of the influences or friends either, so you're probably doing something right. - Mon, 12 May 2008 12:56am

Great chops on all of the members. The only things that stand in the way of them being a good band is, their ultra cheesy (theory of the nickle-down) songwriting, out of tune vocal harmonies and over excess of wanking. The Phil Collins/Garth Brooks head mic should go to. Good energy and intent though. - Tue, 13 May 2008 7:56pm Edited: Tue, 13 May 2008 8:09pm

Trust me people.. their recordings are nothing in comparison to their live show which is crazy. I can play guitar but this guy can do it while running and basically doing a cardio work out for an entire set.
Live they are the tits and I hope to get to see them again soon.

Cheers, Lucius

PS: I would think they are alot closer to Kings X then any of the previous bands mentioned - Thu, 3 Jul 2008 9:58am
