| {UTA} Mike User Info... | what is with this ARC collections company.. their tactics are hilarious.. I owe for a couple of parking tickets.. so they call me at 7am to bitch at me, I call them dicks and if they wake me up at 7am they deserve to die, and I hang up.. I mean cmon, its 7am, I went out to the bar last night the last thing I need is the 7am call when I have to get up at 9am as it is and work. so their vice president calls me a while later and calls me a 'peon' and 'loser' and says he is calling the Saanich police to charge me with uttering threats! haha.. I laughed pretty hard.. he got to screaming at me so loud at that point that my friend overheard from a few feet away and started laughing too.. Which really got him ticked off and he went balistic, saying I was probably a jobless bum on welfare and that I beg downtown for spare change! A few months ago they actually tried to overcharge me for twice the amount of tickets I had.. ie: said I had 6 when I had 3. After a bunch of harrassing calls where they called me a liar, City of Vic finally confirmed to them I was right and owed for the 3, but do they apologize? nope.. I say.. screw you ARC! Tactics like that get a big fat middle finger. I pay my credit cards off regularly and dont want more debt anyways so its not like I care if they actually try and blackmark my credit.. Not to mention I shoveled $220 into City of Vic parkades and meters last month working downtown ( begging for change to pay for my parking tickets! haha right.. ) Im sure there are some other laughable ARC stories floating around, lets hear em! - Fri, 2 May 2008 12:02pm Edited: Fri, 2 May 2008 12:04pm | ||

All you have to do is get a court date to argue your tickets, show up, wait for your case to be called, then wait for the City's prosecutor to get called, when no one answers the call, the Judge just dismisses the whole thing. | BBJones User Info... | Fuckers... while you can obviously ignore such nonsense, I can't help myself from thinking what it must be like to actually be one of those people. What a sad sad life. It is a good example of the difference between certain humans. Most of us have a reasonable sense of how to not be an utter dick all the time... but these people, it is their job. I guess I can't really grasp what it would be like to actully exist as a person that acts like that every day... I know I'm an asshole sometimes, but I sure don't try to be :) And seriously, I've had all sorts of these types of people calling me over the years and I must say the one person who got my repspect (and my money) was the one person who actaully tried to be nice and work with me through the bullshit. These people don't get it that shit happens. Instead they decide you are the bastard and that somehow you desserve to be treated poorly.
