| BBJones User Info... |  We are a new project made up of the usual ex/current-members of many other bands. All songs are still "work in progress" and samples are from a recent jam. http://www.myspace.com/thecambrianexplosionbc - All original - All members 30+ yrs old (and under 40) - Sylte is a mix between the soundscapes/mood of Tool (not demonstrated in the samples) and the straight up heavy rocking of COC (Wiseblood era) - We are currently a 4 piece and have some vocals in the group but would prefer a full-time singer We are not in a rush to find a singer so we will be looking for a very good fit only. We will be auditioning Friday nights as needed. We would like people trying out to rehearse to the sample songs posted then come sing to them in our rehearsal space. As far as vocal styles go, we're open to pretty much anything and would like the potential singer to get as much out of the project as we all do. We are not looking to be a full-time touring band. We all have jobs and plan on keeping them. We do expect to do some travelling for shows that are worthwhile since playing live is what its all about. We currently rehearse one night a week on Friday. There's a part of me that would love to come try out just because you are in fact, so kick ass, but the other part of me says "wait, you have 0 experience, these guys rock. figure it out." | Mr. Hell User Info... | I wrote some stuff for Halo that I think fits pretty good, but I can't seem to write over the other two songs on your My Space. I'd bring an Entombed kind of vocal to your stuff, but you may be looking more for a Mariah Carey thing, so I don't know if I should come down before the Caustic Thought show and have a go. We're playing toinight (Friday June 06) @ Lucky bar (opening w/Unleash the Archers and Lethal Force) We're playing next Friday June 13 @ logan's w/Acron Hell and Run Like Hell's CD release.
