The Notorious HIV User Info... | I'm sure all you uber cool metal fags have heard Brain Drill and are on to the next cool thing by now, but for the uninitiated who love tech insanity at a level that will make you practice or quit, check it out. http://www.myspace.com/braindrill - Tue, 1 Apr 2008 7:14pm Edited: Tue, 1 Apr 2008 7:14pm
jeff User Info... | hahahahahahaha its all about bullshit over the top lame uber tech death metal bands - Tue, 1 Apr 2008 7:34pm Edited: Tue, 1 Apr 2008 7:35pm
A Leathal Dose of Blunt Force Trauma User Info... | I think I just jized in my pants a little. I've listened to these guys before. Fucking impressive. Conveniently no video of the guitars. Check the drum video though. Those are some pretty unreal single handed drum skills! How does a guy go about getting hands that fast? - Tue, 1 Apr 2008 8:49pm Edited: Tue, 1 Apr 2008 8:52pm
Neil User Info... | Not as fast as a band like Psyopus but definately more listenable. Except for the lyrics. - Wed, 2 Apr 2008 6:50am
Nicholas Antoni Marek Gibas User Info... | There's a difference between technical music and mindless guitar wank. - Wed, 2 Apr 2008 12:58pm
michaud User Info... | They just broke up, too. - Wed, 2 Apr 2008 3:02pm
Tambo User Info... | I found videos of the guitar player on youtube. I think this band is sweet, mostly because I can't ever imagine being able to drum like that. - Wed, 2 Apr 2008 3:24pm
Curmudgeon Rocker User Info... | Just broke up?!? /angrily puts fists on hips /Lord Marco toured with Vital Remains......niiiiice. - Wed, 2 Apr 2008 8:36pm
Bryan User Info... | The drums sound like a complete joke. - Wed, 2 Apr 2008 11:48pm
Dusk User Info... | Brain Drill, a band that CAN play technically but ends up having no artistic merit. The band excels however at emulating every other "technical death metal band" out there though. The lyrics also take no imagination: Cramming it down our throats. Their life is one big joke. The media tells you what to do. The media tells you what to think. Forcefed human shit x2 Forced to obey their politics but never again. Forcefed human shit - Thu, 3 Apr 2008 9:46pm
ROSS B AY User Info... | Weak. - Fri, 4 Apr 2008 4:12am
Sati User Info... | In my humble opinion this sucked. As I recall its not the first time I have disagreed with "the notorious hiv" either. I need a little rhythm. - Fri, 4 Apr 2008 10:13pm Edited: Fri, 4 Apr 2008 10:14pm
grindbastard User Info... | I just got their album "Apocalyptic Feasting" and I must say I'm very impressed; especially by the last half of the album. There is a lot more groove and rhythm to the second half. Not exactly Dying Fetus or Misery Index type breakdowns but every once and a while they stop the full neck sweeping and lay down a tasty riff. And I'm really more of a grindcore/sludge kind of kid so I'm really surprised how much I like this. - Sat, 26 Apr 2008 2:01pm
Kivarenn82 User Info... | i enjoy good extreme metal as much as the next guy. but the tech stuff actually fatigues me.. :( still wish i could play like them tho - Sun, 27 Apr 2008 3:29am
Curmudgeon Rocker User Info... | oh they're the bee's knees! - Sun, 27 Apr 2008 1:13pm
J. Peatman User Info... | Wow I had to turn that off fast. Utterly ridiculous. The guitars remind me of old games on the PC. The bleepy stuff that would be coming from the built in PC speaker (anyone remember Loom?). I'm not hearing riffs, I'm hearing finger excercises. Not inspired at all. - Tue, 29 Apr 2008 9:33am
Sati User Info... | Now would be an excellent time for Doomhammer to post an appropriate link.. they were mostly maiden as i recall yeah, but the tech stuff can be done brilliantly, they just don't - Sun, 4 May 2008 2:30am
