so it sounds like war coming and soon. i heard that a large number of muslems (hope i spelled that right) is moving to defend Iraq, not Sadam, but the country itself. Bush is a maniac! even his daddy's against this.

I'd like to thank tony blair for being so fearless and cool-headed, and for all the vaseline we used to take it up the ass with. Also a big thanks to Jean Cretin for being such a fucking pussy.

I can't say i didn't try to stop this from happening. I went to a few protests and signed lots of shit but i guess it wasn't enough. I don't think the problem is so much Bush but the mentallity that he adopted sometime during his life. It's one that far too many people share.
Oh, what a stupid world.

Anyone know any good jokes? - Mon, 17 Mar 2003 1:45pm
Sad but True "Anyone know any good jokes?"
YES... George W. Bush!

There's not much anyone can do with someone like him. I think HE, personally, will pay very heavily for his mistakes.
Everyone knows it's HIM not the USA as a nation that is causing the problem.
Wish Clinton was still in charge... we wouldn't be in this situation now.
Perhaps, down the road, we will be glad that "Chretian is a pussy"! - Mon, 17 Mar 2003 2:14pm
Brian Why do you wish Clinton was in charge? When he bombed the shit out of Serbia over a genocide that wasn't happening, he didn't even go through the UN. - Mon, 17 Mar 2003 4:12pm
Anonymous fuck bush and clinton, reagan had a better way with keeping peace or would nuke the problem if it got bad enough. reagan had a huge success in getting the cold war to end in russia. Too bad he's a gonner mentaly - Mon, 17 Mar 2003 4:35pm
Anonymous Wish Clinton was still in charge... we wouldn't be in this situation now

Other than being a total pussy when it comes to a fight, WTF are you talking about? Clinton is still the biggest joke of a president in US history. - Mon, 17 Mar 2003 4:38pm
Anonymous Bush is a pussy footer too. If he had any balls at all this war would be over by now. He's a puppet used to raise money through media bullshit. Talk talk talk, time to fucking do something and stop the talking. The USA and Bush are a bunch of talkers. Lets get the show on the road or shut the fuck up and let the past go. - Mon, 17 Mar 2003 4:41pm
imo noculated Virge - ? How is Bush a maniac? What did he ever do? I think you gave way too much credit to a guy that hasnt done shite. Lets see if he has any true gut during and after a war. War has been a strong part of mankind forever. I wonder who the true war kings are going to be after the fall of America?????????????? - Mon, 17 Mar 2003 4:48pm
Happy Cat hey the U.S. has always brought democracy to the civilians after every war and rebuilt the country for the good of the people - women and children. As a whole, iraq will be a better place where women will have equal human rights, something they would never have. Some inocent people will die for the freedom their people will have in the near future. Saddam is a dictator, time to take it down. - Mon, 17 Mar 2003 4:58pm
Jean Cretin We cant have enimies on our border. Fellow Canadian's need to wake up to the fact's of government, military, and freedom. Allies are our only asset. We are free as one, would be enslaved alone. - Mon, 17 Mar 2003 5:02pm
Joker LIBERAL PRAYER

Campbell is my shepherd I shall not work.
He maketh me to lie down on park benches
He leadeth me beside the still factories
He restoreth my faith in the Alliance and the Conservatives.
He guideth me in the paths of unemployment.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of soup kitchens
For his Liberal Party's sake, I shall still be hungry
I feel evil for they are against me.
For he hath mounteth my income with taxes.
And my expenses over-runneth my salary
Surely poverty and hard living will follow me
all the days of the Liberal Administration
And I shall live in a rented house forever
5000 years ago, Moses said: "Pick up your
shovel, mount your ass or camel and I will
lead you to the Promised Land
5000 years later, Pearson said: "Lay down
your shovel, sit on your ass, light up a
camel; this is your promised land"
Now if you don't watch out, Campbell will
take your shovel, sell your camel, kick
your ass and take away the promised land

P.S.
I am glad that I am CANADIAN
Glad that I am free
I wish I was a little dog
And Campbell was a tree - Mon, 17 Mar 2003 5:07pm
Evil Hippy I don't think that there is a single person on this website who was an informed opinion about the war. You are all responsible for lowering the bar for stupidity! And to think that so many of you are older than 30.

You guys should try backing up your opinions... or something. - Mon, 17 Mar 2003 5:25pm

Sadam is a dictator... so? Does this make it right to go to "war" (how can the USA bombing the fuck out of Iraq be seen as a war?) just because Sadam is a motherfucker? I mean, sure... he's a motherfucker and a dictator, but does that justify killing thousands and thousands of innocents? This will be like another gulf war, where in excess of 250,000 innocents will die because the USA (it's not just Bush) feels they have to be the world police. Also why does Bush think it's ok that he give orders to the U.N.? The only country he thinks should be immune from U.N. policy is the USA. - Mon, 17 Mar 2003 5:32pm
SweetGrass Happy Cat...Do you really believe that a war with Iraq will result in bringing women and children equality and democracy?
Look at what happened to the people of Kuwait after the Gulf War! That was about oil and politics too. Bush isn't interested in helping oppressed people...He's only interested in personal vengeance, Texas style, for his Pappy!
Just a reminder... we didn't join the U.S. in Vietnam either nor was that war sanctioned by the U.N. How'd that one work out for them? - Tue, 18 Mar 2003 12:57am

Yea they are all happy as clams over there in Vietnam. all with equal rights just like right here, right? No? well don't worry, the good ole US of A will learn 'em right THIS time for sure.

You think this has to do with freedom? Face it, Saddam could torture his own people to his heart's content if he didn't happen to be sitting on one of the biggest oil reserves in the world. You think he's the only dictator in the world? Get real.

This is about DOMINANCE as is every war. You put your faith in what they tell you to. Yea, God please bless our country and the all mighty dollar and please silence our enemys so that we need not think about what they say.

Fear is a very powerful thing and it is used to control the masses:
Threat of terrorist attack is at ORANGE level, so says the TV in the bar, which is above yellow and green but not as sever as RED so git yer duct tape and tarps together yall and head for the hills. and oh yea don't trust those rag-heads for a second cause they may not be on OUR side..

there will allways be more 'terrorists' now matter how many get blown away. maybe the states should have a good look at WHY PEOPLE HATE THEM rather then seeing how many they can kill.

oh yea, Reagan was a good president? what planet are you on? - Tue, 18 Mar 2003 1:17am

Jean Cretin,

I realize having enemies at your back door is not a good thing however under normal (as in, not fucked) circumstances it is possible to dissagree with a friend. Bush has made all that impossible with his "if you're not with us, you're against us" mentallity.

Freedom? I thought i was talking about freedom. - Tue, 18 Mar 2003 1:40am
Anonymous there is more oil in the tar sands of alberta than in the middle east...how bout them apples? - Tue, 18 Mar 2003 2:07am
kyla aperently(sp?) Bush has given Hussein 48 hours for him and his family to leave Iraq....otherwise there WILL be attacks by the US of A. And folks, it seems as though we are deffinetly(sp?) ( i can't spell obviously) headed into WWIII. Oh well, what can ya do? Hopefully I'll be drunck as a skunck when the "final" (oohooo scarrrry...) day comes! But hey? What's new? - Tue, 18 Mar 2003 8:51am

unattainable Holy shit! Have you HEARD Tony Blair's voice today? He sounds TERRIFIED! He's definately freakin out. I'm almost relieved, at least they're not all total sociopaths. I bet old dick cheney's cool as a cuke...

Bush vs Tic Tac
Satire Obsolete?

There was one about Bush and monkeys... can't find it... sigh... - Tue, 18 Mar 2003 12:32pm
unattainable no shit! I moved in with a bunch of dare-i-say-it? hippy types. not really but kinda. anyway, it was really wierd getting used to it. But ever since just before 9/11 I've had less and less access to tv and I've come to appreciate that - cuz when everyone else is getting tortured by tv-horror (injured people, stupid leaders callously voicing fucked up decisions etc), I'm the one who's ok and removed enough to calm my friends down. I pay attention, but I don't need to get choked up watching people who've just lost family/friends break down. I can do that on my own just thinking about it. - Tue, 18 Mar 2003 12:37pm
unattainable haha, i like the satire obsolete. i saw the monkey one way too many times... (oh, maybe that was real!) - Tue, 18 Mar 2003 12:49pm
SweetGrass Unnattainable:
You aren't missing anything without t.v. Check out the international news sites on the web for a much less propaganda like approach to this Bush nightmare. - Tue, 18 Mar 2003 6:48pm
unattainable Thanks sweetcheeks (sorry, can't see your name on this reply window), but actually, I am missing a ton not having tv. And FYI, I do check out a variety of international, "alternative" & mainstream news sources. Contrary to what you may believe, I believe that being sheltered from mainstream media does not arm me for whats out there - without it I don't get the complete picture of how the game is being played. As far as tv goes, people can use the same words, but their mannerisms, tones of voice, facial expressions can say a completely different story. Hence, I'm missing out on a ton. - Tue, 18 Mar 2003 7:49pm
unattainable Hey sweetgrass, sorry about that, I think I was getting a bit confrontational after being dissed on the other thread. I'm getting tense about all this too. - Tue, 18 Mar 2003 7:52pm
SweetGrass Unattainable:
No Worries. As long as mainstream's not the only source, I totally agree with you about it. It's easy to get edgy on this board. Cheers SweetGrass - Tue, 18 Mar 2003 10:36pm
