| The Provider User Info... | I do not like the music of Limp Bizkit or Linkin Park. Did you know that Linkin Park has 3 singers who were in a pop group? The musicians are all hired studio musicians and they stand at the back of the stage while the 3 singers get up and sing. But, nu metal bands make it easy to get interested in real metal. I used to love bands like Korn and Slipknot, but now I can't stand them. I just had no exposure to bands with more talent than marketing skills. They were a gateway to bands, and then as I found death/thrash metal bands, I could show my buddies that were into nu metal. This style is very commercialized, and although I do not like the music, it does expose metal to people who might not know anything about metal. Instead of attacking the people who listen to this genre, show them other bands that are easy to get into like In Flames, Children Of Bodom, Slayer. Pantera, etc. - Sat, 8 Mar 2003 2:36pm | ||
