| mckcd User Info... | Hi there! I'm putting together a ska band. Weekly rehearsals for a while to find a workable line-up. Focus will be on '60's & 70's covers and of course some original tunes. We will be focusing on '60's(skatalites, desmond dekker) and '70's stuff(specials, beat, madness), not the more modern punk stuff(sublime, fishbone, MM Bosstones). I'd like it to work towards being a collective where all members are involved to varying degrees. We will likely be gigging in the spring. If you or anyone you know would be interested in coming out, please contact me. I'll likely be singing and playing some guitar. I'm looking for: -vocals -bass(electric or acoustic) -guitar -horns...sax, trumpet, bone. -other? Wacky instruments are welcome... I have 4 professionals already in the group with more on the way but ska-crazed talented newbees are welcome too.
