Cover Band Anyone?

| Rich User Info... | Looking to form a cover band to cover anything that grooves. Funk ( James Brown, The Meters, Jamiroquai), acid-jazz(Soulive), hip-hop ( Jurassic 5, The Roots), blues ( Clapton , SRV) rock ( Zeppelin, Hendrix, Beck, Radiohead, Cream).........................the list goes on!!!!!!!!!!!! I would like to play bass in this group, but I also play the drums and guitar so it would be fun too hook up with other multi-instrumentalists so we could switch instruments on certain songs. Ideally I'd like to be gigging by the summer, so serious replies only. | Doc User Info... | Hey there. I play the throat and I'd be into a cover band. I like SRV, Clapton, Hendrix, Pearl Jam, RHCP, Stone Sour, CCR, Dire Straits, Tool, G'n'R all sorts of stuff like that. I can play bass, guitar and drums also, but I own none them. Drop me a line @ [email protected]. | Mofo User Info... | Got the lungs & the balls to back them up...*guitar playing abilities not necessarily included or implied...(always read the fine print) I do play rhythm guitar pretty well (over 15yrs), but have a tendency to....ummm go off the minute I try to lead on guitar...I like to follow with the axe. anyways...if you are still in need, there's a fine pair o' Irish lungs awaiting. I enjoy funk, reggae, dub, fusion, jazz, blues, 'world', folk, ska, and others. I play drumset, percussion, a little didjeridoo, and some 'pretend' bass/guitar.. your email looks familiar, did you used to play keyboard..? cool man, good luck with the musician search.
