Ty Stranglehold User Info... | We're not talking about the namby-pamby lamecore bands that are so-called "skate punk" these days... Oh no, we're talking Blazing Wheels, Barking Trucks Skate Rock remincent of days gone by. Flip your brim and get ready to schralp with the best that Western Canada has to offer. Sheglank'd Shoulders - Calgary (their show at Logan's last year still lives in infamy... Don't miss out this time!) The China Creeps - Vancouver (their first show in Vic. I wonder if they'll bring their stage ramps?) The Hoosegow - Victoria (know em. love em... TOO FAT TO GRIND!) Slappys at the front of the stage are encouraged - Sat, 3 Nov 2007 6:22pm

Ty Stranglehold User Info... | The first person who comes up to me at the show and tells me the leader of The Daggers' name will get their door charge refunded. - Sat, 10 Nov 2007 1:19am

Ty Stranglehold User Info... | Sounds like Hoosegow might not be able to do this one. Big Rick smashed his finger and more or less had to get it sewn back together again. I would imagine that it would suck to drum with that. Maybe he'll just get drunk and duct tape the stick to his hand a la Jay Brown. It's my party and I'll puke if I want to! - Sun, 11 Nov 2007 7:14pm
bsxjen User Info... | tell rick i've got my fingers crossed for him. - Wed, 14 Nov 2007 11:03am

Ty Stranglehold User Info... | I think it's a no go having minors play in a bar these days. Someone who knows for sure should chime in though. Damn T.Depression and I were all ready to rock at Vic West on Saturday but it pissed rain. Give me a call or email, and we'll do it. - Mon, 19 Nov 2007 1:29am
Bryan User Info... | Didn't early Mind Between the Lines play at a bar once? - Mon, 19 Nov 2007 1:32am
darcy User Info... | Minors are allowed to play in bars, but they have to wait outside before their set, and go right after. I know somewhere on here there are some quotes from various members of Wayne Powerman, but I know for sure there is one from Mark (rip skinny) saying that he will never play a bar show (I think the line was a none all-ages show). - Mon, 19 Nov 2007 8:22am
tyler User Info... | ALL AGES FOR LIFE, but thats pretty cool too see someone mention thrash maddonna and wp everyone listen to the new wp songs on are myspace first one in like a year fuck YEAH! mind between the lines were all of age at the time well..ex[ect for jeff who was like 15 or 16 - Mon, 19 Nov 2007 11:32am

ricky jak User Info... | It's funny.... "ALL AGES FOR LIFE" you turn 40 and you realize "What the hell am i doing going to Punk shows?" I quit going to ALL Agers many years ago. I found it strange to be in a room full of teenagers wasted and .....hey... so now i enjoy beeing in bars full of adults all wasted. Maybe it's time i grew up? anyway maybe if tyler will not be so ALL AGER and have his band play in a bar, then maybe some old people will come to ALL AGERS... IT's about the music and the energy is it not? just thinkin about this. ---- an old man? - Wed, 21 Nov 2007 5:46pm
KimberleyKaos User Info... | We should have a session/compettion outside between bands...throw a ramp up against side of beer store - no?! Nursing pnumonia...even tho I went to work today, really hoping I can make this one... PS I love Duane What does anyone think of Die Hunns? - Wed, 21 Nov 2007 6:26pm
Bryan User Info... | I'm pretty sure Tyler wasn't saying "ALL AGES FOR LIFE!" as though to say "fuck bar shows" or anything, in fact I'm pretty sure (though I can't speak for everyone) us younger peoples' bands would probably be more than happy to come out and play one of your guys' shows if it were ever offered... I know that at least in the case of my band Cyborg Justice we're not exactly being flooded with show offers and I know many of my friends' bands are in the same situation. If not that's cool too, but don't feel as though we somehow are opposed to the "older" punk scene doing what it does. That being said, I have yet to attend a bar show that matches the intensity and fun of an all-ages show, but that's just me personally. - Wed, 21 Nov 2007 9:21pm Edited: Wed, 21 Nov 2007 9:25pm
Ty Stranglehold User Info... | The Doublecuts are making their debut to open. - Wed, 21 Nov 2007 11:21pm
ricky jak User Info... | Screw it then.... i really wanted to see Thrash Madonna or WaynePowerman! Or even Cyborg Justice... or the Laxatives.... Who the hell are Doublecuts??? sounds like more food music which seems to be something you like Ty! and yes Bryan I agreee some of the most intense shows I ever went to were an ALL AGER... Black Flag at the OAP. But the second best live show i went to was Melvins at Harpos! ahhhhhh... how and where is Griph? Too old to Thrash - ricky JaK - Thu, 22 Nov 2007 5:45pm
T. Depression User Info... | I think all ages shows AND bar shows have there merit. Just like I think Records and CD's have theres. I love punk-rock...I'll take it any way it comes, and there's so little out there that's worthwhile, that I'm not going to start limiting myself for ANY reason. Some of the best shows I've ever seen were all ages...the rest were bar shows. The show tomorrow night will be a shitload of fun. I'm picking the rest of The Sheglank'd Shoulders up at the airport in an hour...and then we're going to practice. Killer... - Thu, 22 Nov 2007 8:14pm
Ty Stranglehold User Info... | That was a hell of a good time. Thanks to all of you that came out!!! - Sat, 24 Nov 2007 7:39pm
