I saw them last time they were in Vancouver, and while definitely good it was not one of my most memorable concert experiences ever as it probably should have been. There were complications with the site. I had floor seats, and then... just wasn't allowed to get them. I don't have a credit card and was going to use someone else's who told me that all the credit info was already stored on the site. They are in Hawaii right now and I have no way to contact them. That was, in my humble opinion, so cool, scalpers all ready to go home and you gave the people with no cash and no hope of getting a ticket to the show, who were listening and nashing their teeth over missing such a cool edge show an unexpected shot at it. Best concert so far that i have seen. Im not gonna say that it was the best concert of my life (been to a few gooders) and im not gonna try and defend the blended muddy sound of the sofa or any arena (imo). but i am gonna say that i was not disappointed in the show. sure i would have written up a different set list.. sure i would have turned up the vocals.. sure i would have loved to see them on the aenima tour when maynard was blue and could really really sing... but for pure entertainment value ive gotta give it to them. from the moment the wandered onto the stage they had my attention. stinkfist and 46&2 really got me psyched after a jumbley jambi?.. both the new songs in the first have.. Jambi and rossetta stoned seemed a little weak.. like they were getting the kinks out or something.. Flood was intense.. the intermission brought out the lazer lights and lots and lots of smoke. lots... when tool came back out they seemed dead on.. the second half was much better than the first (imo).. wings for marie.. 10k days.. great.. great . lateralus was spot on.. the drum off/solo was a nice touch. vicarios the last song is not my favourite recorded song but derinately won me over as a live song. great show victoria behaved very well and I left entertained and satisfied. .. . - Sun, 2 Dec 2007 12:49pm | ||
