I'm trying to get people's attention in as many ways and places as possible because I'm pretty serious about giving this a try. First of all though, the short version: Guitarist of 5 years (4 of which were quite intense, so I am actually pretty good) looking for people to mess with my head and generally break rules move mountains and spelunk in the underground lakes of the human psyche. Long Version/More Info/Pretentious Babblings that you shouldn't take too seriously: Name: Only Taxidermists Get Reincarnated Music's strength lies in its ability to evoke emotion. Abstract sounds can make us feel in a few bars what a book does in a chapter, or a movie does in an hour. Music is a gateway to the subconscious, and the intent of this band is to harness that power and use it to provoke as well as evoke, and to remind us that there are certain things common to us all, as well as aspects of ourselves that maybe none of us ever understands. And also to have fun. PS the band name is just a place holder, it can change. Influences: Neutral Milk Hotel, The Beatles, Modest Mouse, The Moldy Peaches, Various Artists Status: Un-Available: Seeking Musicians Looking for people who will entertain the notion that some or all of what I just said is crap. Also being a good musician helps. I don't care about your instrument(s) or genre--we'll blend it in, it'll be cool--just be good at it. PS please be 19+ years old so as to keep all venues open to us.
