Thanks for adding your pics Rob!

As the first THC player of the guitar body style pictured, Rob has aptly named this shape the THC "Impaler". Band mates beware of the arrowhead headstocks. A blow to the head or body is potentially fatal.

First, you are not even close. The manufacturer of these guitars and their employees are paid well for their work (on relative wage scale). I am well aware of global diseconomies so don’t even bother going there.

Next time you are about to post a brilliant comment on a message board, take a quick look at the bottom of your keyboard, mouse and computer…Made in China. If you feel so strongly, never play another CD, touch your phone, use your computer, put on underwear, socks and shoes or touch another electronic gadget again (MP3 player). If you look around your house you will notice that almost every product in your house or the components will have originated from China.

Go bitch to Fender, ESP, BC Rich, Schecter, Gibson and Jackson about why they employ manufacturers in Indonesia, China, Malaysia, India, Korea and Sri Lanka. We placed a very small order through a small company that is trying to get established. We are not a massive corporation with the goal of maximising profits at the expense of individuals in other countries.

In short, fuck off and shut the fuck up! - Mon, 21 May 2007 7:34pm

Hey Dave,

We've have a very nice gloss black 'Impaler' that would be $375+PST with the stock pickups. If you would like to upgrade the pickups to the GuitarHead actives that would add $150 to the cost ($125 if you want to install the active set yourself). We also have a couple of matte black and matte gray 'Impalers' left. Feel free to call me for more info/options.

Thanks,

Toby

Hey Mofo,

I haven't approached local retailers yet in the hopes of keeping costs down for the end consumer. Retail always adds substantially to the final cost. Our goal is to provide quality instruments at reasonable prices. I think we all know that musicians tend to suffer from gear acqusition syndrome (GAS) while also lacking the funds to feed their insatiable hunger.

Talk to you soon,

Toby

Hey Dave,

I couldn’t agree more…I have been meaning to get a site put together and just figured the MySpace page would have to suffice for now.

I’m in school full-time + plus 24 hrs of clinical per week and I have 3 children under the age of 5 (one newborn). In other words there a lot of things I intend to do but never find the time. This first order of guitars was really intended to clarify which models and colours have the greatest appeal.

All of the models we currently have are pictured on livevictoria.com or the MySpace page. If there is a specific model/colour you are interested in, please feel free to call, email for pictures, or setup a time to come by and check out a guitar (we are located in Victoria). We are looking at basses, but we have to see how the guitars go first. If we endorsed everyone on MySpace who has requested to be endorsed we wouldn’t have any guitars available.

I will post pics of the various models/colours on livevictoria.com in the coming days.

Thanks,

Toby

Hey Wil,

We are located in the Royal Oak Area, fairly close to the Royal Oak shopping Centre. We are curretnly based out of our residence. We do not currently do basses but may in the near future. We currently offer the arrowhead headstock and our alternate headstock which we use on our strat shaped "Sativacaster" - Sun, 17 Jun 2007 10:37pm Edited: Sun, 17 Jun 2007 10:42pm

thats wicked, how much would a "Impaler" (the gibson explorer shape) with a stavia head cost me? - Mon, 18 Jun 2007 9:21pm

User Info...
Hate to be a downer Wil, but the 'Impaler' originates came from the arrowhead headstock. The alternate headstock is currently only available on the strat shaped guitars. Unfortunately the guitars all have set necks so swapping necks would be a bit messy. Let me know if you are interested in the Explorer style. The arrowhead headstock looks much better in person.

Thanks,
Toby

Who wouldn't want to support a local family business?

We just dropped close to $4000 to have Tuco's (the dog) CCL ligament (similar to an ACL) repaired.

Should I start posting a "deal of the week" guitar, every week?

Thanks!

Hey everybody,

Just got a THC Impaler yesterday and I must say it kicks serious ass, it's as good as it looks! This is the matte black finish and it looks even better in person. The stock pickups are actually great, and the hardware is solid too.
This guitar is way WAY better than any epiphone or jackson you will see at L&M for the same price. Please do yourself a favor and check out these guitars ASAP.

Thanks again Toby!

Here are some pics of a Gloss Black V4 with the GuitarHeads actives installed for Peter from the the bands Vomitory and The Law (Sweden).

Please feel free to contact with any questions. The guitars are well built, are very reasonably priced and even the stock humbuckers sound damn good.
