| The Dude | So I was unfortunate enough to hang out at that shit-hole of a bar named Soundgarden yesterday. Let me tell you one thing: if you order beer there then get it from the bottle NOT the keg. The special last night (Piper's Pale Ale) was the single most disgusting piss I've ever tasted. I'm pretty sure Soundgarden recycled all their empty kegs and then had the bartender piss in it to come up with what I paid $12.75 for last night. Luckily I decided to pour that shit away. My friend overcame his urge to puke and actually drank the rest of the pitcher, only to fall violently ill later that night and still feel like shit today. Even though I only had about half a pint I also felt pretty sketchy later that night. So, let this be a warning to everyone. You really should just avoid a sick bar like Soundgarden, but if you have to go there make sure you order a bottled product. I hope the health inspector is gonna visit that fucking dump and close it down before this happens to anyone else. - Wed, 19 Feb 2003 8:51pm | ||

The dudes in jefferey sez once told me that they went to the bar in regina that had cheap pitchers, and it turned out the reason they were so cheap was because they would use recycled beer, meaning that they would pour out the unused pitchers in to vat and then use 3/4 of that for a new pitcher plus some fresh pour to add some head. It especially sucks when thats what the bands get. Its the only bar I have played at that doesnt give some free drinks (other than draft) or at least a discount on bottled product.
