According to my radar sensors it has come to my knowledge that GROSS MISCONDUCT (www.grossmisconduct.net is preparing for metal-battallion-outlash at Dizzy's (44 Commercial St.) in Nanaimo on Thursday, March 13th. | SentencedtoBurn User Info... | It has been confirmed on March 13th that Gross Misconduct will be playing with local punk band "The Descents" and another band which we know nothing about called "Spank". Show will probably start around 10, @ Dizzy's in Nanaimo. This being a "Battle of the Bands" format, I imagine each band competes against one another that night, and from there advances onto the finals in Vancouver. But then again we are dealing with "Black Magic Entertainment" and Clydewhoeverthefuckheis, so chances are the bands will get paid in pesos and pocket lint, and advance to the finals in Spuzzum, B.C. - Tue, 4 Mar 2003 1:37pm | ||

We've signed up for the "Battle of the Bands" at Soundgarden, and have received no confirmation whatsoever as to a specific date. We've emailed them religiously asking for a date so we don't end up double booking any given night, but have received no response. And it also seems that whenever we've played with a Victoria band in Nanaimo, they always say " yeah, we should totally do this in Victoria", but whenever a metal show comes up in Vic, no one seems to ask us to play - except for Within a Vision. | Wreaker of Havoc User Info... | This is the first all Metal Show Gallows End has been part of so we havent exactly had the opportunity to add any bands in the past. There are many great bands that we are trying to set up shows with. Evilosity (nanaimo), Delicious Face (brentwood), Machine Gun Kelly (vic), Self Inflicted (vic). I would also like to do more shows with Tough as Nails (vic). We are in the midst of setting up some stuff down the road with Kickback (duncan), Threat of the End (vic). All of these bands have either been super supportive or have helped us out showwise. If we can get another band on this bill I figured we owe Seasons of Sorrow a show AND they have never had the opportunity to slaughter Vic with thier shit! I think Victoria is in for a treat. We think Gross Misconduct rip and look forward to future shows together but its a give and take situation.
