(lead guitarist/bass/keys/drums) Must be committed to regular rehearsals and gigs. Ability to or provide back-up vocals and/or share lead an asset (but not required). I also play hand percussion and can provide back-up vocals. Here’s a sample of some bands I’d like to cover: John Mellencamp (Hurt So Good/Again Tonight/I'm Not Running Anymore), Pat Benatar (Hit Me With Your Best Shot/Heartbreaker), BTO (Takin’ Care of Business), Scandal (The Warrior), The Cars (Good Times Roll etc), 54/40 (Casual Viewing), George Thorgood (Get A Haircut), Linkin Park (In The End), Melissa Etheridge (Bring Me Some Water), Doobie Brothers (Long Train Running), Toronto (Your Daddy Don’t Know), Sheryl Crow (Soak Up the Sun), Gin Blossoms (Hey Jealousy), The Headpins (Don’t It Make Ya Feel), Boston (Rock & Roll Band), Madonna (Holiday), Journey (Any Way You Want It), Bruce Springsteen (Glory Days/Hungry Heart), Tragically Hip (Trickle Down) etc...you get the idea. Would prefer seasoned musicians 25 years old & up I have gear! (amp/speakers/2 microphones & stand) and am willing to help pay for the rehearsal space rental. | dumpstermesh User Info... | Wow. I'm going to tell my bf about you. The fact that you listed Mellencamp and Benatar as your top two will probably get him hard. He's a bass player that has been looking for serious people to play with. I know he would love a regular jam schedule. He's 36 and not into band drama. He used to play in Goatboy, Black market fruits, and Captains of Industry but he is leaning more towards good ol' fashioned rock these days.
