| myoldself User Info... |  Selling my trusty US428. I am not recording as much lately, so I am downsizing to more portable gear. This is a great machine and I did lots of great work on it... MIDI, demos, film scores.... Easy to get working and the hands on use is handy. Links up to Nuendo, Cubase, protools, logic, and many others. 4 channels, but one of them is broken at the input. Tascam service in Burnaby quoted the repair for $100 or so.... but I never needed more than 2 channels anyways for apartment recordings (tracking and stuff). The broken channel does NOT affect the rest of the machine. Bought it for approx $700 or $800 in 2003. I'm selling for cheaper than I would like to due to broken channel. Specs: PC or Mac compatible via USB interface 24-bit D/A and A/D converters 4 in (analog or S/PDIF) and 2 out simultaneously 2 independent MIDI I/O Supports unlimited banks of 8 faders Dedicated EQ, Aux, and Pan controllers LOW latency more reviews and specs if you GOOGLE US428 ALL the original materials come with it and a copy of receipt if you want.
